LASER, short for “Light Amplification by the Stimulated Emission of Radiation”, has a long history in medicine, but mass application in urology began after 2000. years, bringing revolutionary changes in treatment. The main characteristic of lasers is the transfer of energy through light, using it to destroy or vaporize tissue or stone.

Urologists use a laser to “melt” stones in the kidneys or urinary tract, which is the only complete solution for all types and hardness of stones. This short intervention turns the stone into dust, which is then eliminated from the kidney by suction and flushing. The latest high-efficiency and safe lasers allow patients to get rid of stones and leave the hospital after a few hours, quickly returning to their daily activities.

Quanta System Litho Evo 35W represents a modern and safe approach to the treatment of kidney stones .

This highly efficient laser system provides precision and safety in urological interventions, reducing the invasiveness of procedures, speeding up recovery and reducing the risk of complications.

Key features include high power of 35 watts for effective stone breaking, precision targeting, use of different wavelengths and innovative cooling technology.

The working principle of Quanta System Litho Evo 35W is based on photoacoustic effect technology. The laser emits a high-energy pulse of light that generates a shock wave inside the stone, causing it to break into smaller fragments.

How long does the intervention itself take?

The duration of the intervention itself depends on the size and type of stone, but this laser system often enables faster and more efficient procedures compared to traditional methods.

At the Belgrade Urological Center, this procedure is applied by Dr. Goran Savić , an experienced urologist with extensive experience in laser urology. Dr. Savić is an expert who actively follows the latest technological trends in the field of urology, thus providing top medical care to patients.

The price of laser stone breaking is below, and you can see it in our price list as well as the prices of other services.
